Rower wins world championship title after disc surgery

A few words describe a whole drama: rowing world champion suffers from a severe herniated disc during his training for the next competition. Conventional methods fail. Rehab doesn‘t help either. Over? Fortunately not quite. Rowing world champion Matthias Schömann-Finck from Saarbrücken went to Dr. Michael Schubert from the Munich apex-spine Center who does the most tissue preserving disc surgery of the world.
